Tracy Litzi
A Research Associate, Mrs. Litzi graduated magna cum laude with an undergraduate degree in genetics from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. While at Cedar Crest, she completed many independent research projects including identifying novel bacteriophages from local streams to study the transfer of genetic material. She has had internships in the Howard Hughes Fellowship Program at the University of Pittsburgh and the Undergraduate Research Program at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories in New York.
Mrs. Litzi worked at Johns Hopkins University and a local biotechnology company before arriving at the GDC in 2002. She currently works in a laboratory at the National Cancer Institute where she completes many of GDC's microarray experiments and follow-up gene verifications.
