Gynecologic Oncology Staff
Maj Chad A. Hamilton, M.D.
Dr. Hamilton graduated with academic distinction from the United States Air Force Academy in 1994 and attended medical school at Tulane University, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated in 1998. He then completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the combined programs of Wilford Hall USAF and Brooke Army Medical Centers in San Antonio, Tx. After one year as an attending obstetrician/gynecologist in San Antonio, Dr. Hamilton received subspecialty training in Gynecologic Oncology at Stanford University and the University California, San Francisco from 2003-2006.
During specialty and subspecialty training, Dr. Hamilton received numerous awards highlighting achievement in clinical, research and humanitarian pursuits. He is a member of several professional organizations and has presented his research at national scientific meetings, as well as published in multiple peer reviewed journals. He joined the staff of the Gynecologic Oncology Division at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in July 2006.
